Bria McDaniel-Young
Owner/LCSW/Clinical Director
I'm a Child & Family therapist working with those impacted by ADHD, ASD and the foster care system. I work with clients who have fought the world so that children can have the life they deserve no matter their diagnosis or background. The same clients often feel like they are also fighting themselves. Battling symptoms and the systems that come with foster care, having ADHD, or having ASD, feels exhausting, lonely and endless. But what would life look like if you were heard, seen, and supported? For my clients, it looks like having me in their corner empowering them so that they thrive despite the fight and rest despite the "list."
I specialize in helping clients with developing tools tools to manage neurodivergent diagnosis such as ADHD, Autism, challenging behavior, and family conflict.
Life as a child, parenting a child, or transitioning from a child to an adult seems to be increasingly difficult. Despite society becoming more aware of mental health needs, children are presented with more threats to their mental health. If you are in need of compassionate support equipped with the tools to navigate these challenges, you have found the right place!
Miranda Johnson
LCSWA
Miranda brings a deep commitment to creating spaces for hope and transformation. Her work centers on supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, and emotional healing, with a special emphasis on women and children of all ages, particularly during the perinatal stages.
She is passionate about guiding others through both personal and collective journeys that require self-compassion, patience, and community support. In her practice, Miranda draws inspiration from the Adinkra symbol Mate Masie, which translates to “What I Hear, I Keep.” This symbol represents wisdom, prudence, and the value of listening. It teaches the importance of listening to others to foster understanding, reflecting carefully to make informed decisions, and using knowledge and experience to guide one’s actions.
Grounded in these principles, Miranda strives to create a space of empathy and insight for clients, helping them find peace within their experiences and move toward the life they aspire to create.
