Love’s Legacy Counseling PLLC

Welcome

I’m Bria McDaniel-Young , a LCSW therapist and the owner of Love’s Legacy Counseling PLLC. As a therapist, I provide therapeutic support to children, their families and young adults experiencing life’s challenges. I specialize in ADHD, Autism, and ODD diagnoses along with, trauma informed care for those in foster care, adoptive homes or with a history of CPS involvement. Through out my work, I have recognized the need for children to have therapists fully versed in each of these due to their intersectionality but also, due to their distinct needs. With my passion for serving children, their families and young adults, I have created Love's Legacy Counseling to provide individuals like you with well rounded therapeutic support. Finding True Support

So you have decided that therapy just might be the type of support you or your child need!

~ Are you tired of tired of fighting the school, doctors, family and sometimes yourself?

~ Do you just wish that existing could be as easy for you as it seems for everyone else?

~ Have you found it difficult to help your child in controlling emotions, dealing with life stressors, difficult behaviors, transitions, or all of the above?

~ Do you desire to see their smile as they thrive despite the challenges they face?

If answered yes, I’m glad we have found each other. I am here to provide support with tackling these battles so that you and your child can experience peace within a healthy childhood.

Let’s work Together!

As a therapist, I am committed to helping those experiencing these challenges overcome what feels impossible. I work with clients by meeting them where they are and providing the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are parenting a child, trying to parent yourself or just existing as a child, you deserve to be supported by someone who values you, values your experience and that is equipped to help you with the battles that come along with childhood. As a therapist, I have dedicated my academic career to working with children experiencing hardship by obtaining my Master’s Degree in Social Work and my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development & Family Studies. My education has enabled me to provide support for children and their families for over a decade. I have served children from a range of different walks of life, from those in foster care to those able to access private practice. My mission is always to meet children where they are and support them to the desired destination. I do this through empathy, providing tools, partnership and empowerment.
